Different Types of Computers

 Laptops
A laptop is smaller than a PC and is portable, which means it can be carried around.  It is powered by batteries or the mains and is usually very light and very thin – less than three inches in thickness.  Many manufacturers make laptops, including IBM, Apple, Compaq, Dell, and Toshiba.





PC
In its more general usage, a PC (personal computer) is a computer designed for use by one person at a time. It is a small digital computer based on a microprocessor and designed to be used by one person at a time.

Many manufacturers make PCs, including IBM, Apple, Compaq, Dell, and Toshiba.



PDA
A PDA is (Personal Digital Assistant) a lightweight consumer electronic device that looks like a hand-held computer but instead performs specific tasks; it can serve as a diary or a personal database or a telephone or an alarm clock.
